Manager Installation & Commissioning EMEA-AP

As Manager Installation & Commissioning EMEA-AP, you are fully responsible for the successful installation and commissioning of AMF projects at customer sites across the region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia & Pacific).

This is a substantial leadership role with direct business impact.

Within EMEA-AP, we operate in a complex international environment where a large share of delivered equipment originates from outside the Netherlands. Regardless of origin, all systems must be correctly scoped, quoted, installed, commissioned, and handed over to the customer in accordance with contract agreements, budget, quality, and safety standards.

You ensure that installations are properly prepared and commercially sound by overseeing cost price calculations and determining required capacity. You make sure the right people with the right capabilities are available in the right regions - whether internal colleagues or qualified local partners. You actively build and maintain a strong regional network to guarantee local support and cost efficiency.

In the coming years, we aim for significant growth. Scaling, structuring, and professionalizing the Installation & Commissioning organization will therefore be one of your key challenges. This requires independence, entrepreneurial thinking, and proactive leadership.

• A gross monthly salary between €4.500,00 and €6.000,00 based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience

Responsibilities of Manager Installation & Commissioning EMEA-AP:

• Lead and further develop the Installation & Commissioning (I&C) team across EMEA-AP

• Ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time installation and commissioning at customer sites

• Align planning, scope, resources, and risk assessments with customers prior to execution

• Prepare and validate cost price calculations and determine required installation capacity

• Decide whether projects are executed with internal AMF teams or supported by qualified local partners

• Identify, select, and manage local partners/contractors to ensure regional coverage and cost efficiency

• Safeguard delivery within budget and in accordance with contract and customer expectations

• Monitor and manage KPIs (OTD, hours, material costs, quality, and safety) and continuously improve performance

• Scale the organization by recruiting, developing, and certifying internal talent

• Drive Lean initiatives and implement structural process improvements

• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and active risk management

• Hold full budget responsibility for Installation & Commissioning activities

• HBO level of thinking and working (degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is a plus)

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, including leadership of field service or workshop technicians

• Experience in the metal/electro industry is preferred

• Excellent command of Dutch and English (spoken and written)

• Willingness to travel regularly to international customer locations
