Software Engineer - Customer Care

Are you passionate about software engineering and eager to make an impact in the world of industrial automation? As a Software Engineer - Customer Care at AMF Bakery Systems, you will design and optimize the software of our advanced bakery machines, support customers with smart solutions, and bring projects to life during on-site commissioning. In this role, you combine technical expertise with creativity to keep production lines running and continuously improve our systems.

What do we offer you?

• Monthly salary between €3.000,00 and €4.500,00 based on a 40-hour work week (depending on your knowledge and experience), excluding allowances

• Travel allowance (€0,23 per km) and an excellent pension plan (PME)

• Long-term employment contract (we are not looking for freelancers/contractors)

Responsibilities of Software Engineer - Customer Care

• Software / Program design of industrial bakery machines

• Onsite commissioning with R&M projects / Service Jobs

• Design solutions for end-of-life products

• Out-of-the-box solutions for customers who are at a standstill

• Redesigning designs based on current production techniques

• Visiting customers to design the best solution

• Optimizing processes and software (IT) for our legacy data

• You work closely with other experts to develop the right technological solutions for our customers.

• You participate in multidisciplinary projects

• Ensuring accurate documentation and maintenance of the programming systems

• Graduated in controls engineering or 3 years of relevant experience

• 1- 3 years of experience in the industry (food industry is a plus)

• Demonstrable affinity with software engineering 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Dutch and English

• Autonomy and sense of responsibility

• Systematic work attitude, goal-oriented

• Mindset ''continuous improvement''
