Job description

Are you someone who enjoys helping customers with offering, processing, and coordinating requests for machine upgrades/modifications, service projects & parts? Do you have some technical background? And does it give you a good feeling when you have been able to help our customers (large bakeries) with ordering parts and other technical solutions?

Would you like to work at an internationally operating machine building company in the food industry, and do you feel at home in a small and dedicated Customer Care team, where the working atmosphere is super cozy? Then this is your chance, and we would love to talk to you!

As a Service Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You ensure a customer-oriented handling of all service requests and ensure the desired execution of service activities by our field service technicians. In addition, you handle requests for technical inspections, maintenance, repairs, and resolving malfunctions.

What we offer you:

  • Monthly salary in the range of €3,600.00 to €4,400.00 based on 40 hours; depending on your knowledge and experience

  • Travel allowance (€0.23 / km); vitality budget up to €25 net per month and a very good pension provision (PME)

  • CAO Metalektro including 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days per year

What will you be doing:

  • First point of contact for customers (mostly via email)

  • Offering, processing, and coordinating requests for Machine upgrades/modifications, Maintenance, Parts, Technical inspections, and advice on (preventive) maintenance etc.

  • Preparing customer-specific quotations

  • Proper follow-up of service requests, from PO to shipment

  • Correct administrative processing of requests and orders in the system

  • Central point of contact within AMF for service assignments

  • Ensuring good preparation and follow-up of service visits including reporting

  • Translating customer signals to the business

  • Contributing to continuous improvement

Job requirements

  • Completed relevant MBO education level 4

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial inside sales role in a technical environment

  • Technical insight (you can read a technical drawing and have some understanding of the operation of production machines)

  • Excellent customer orientation, hands-on, accurate, and stress-resistant

  • Excellent command of Word and Excel

  • Ability to work well independently in a team

  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language

  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems is a plus
